STARDUST I by Margaret M. Glinke

 

The star map that was used to plot the constellations in this painting was from my Grandparents' Werner Universal Educator, 1899. Photos from the Hubble telescope inspired depictions of the Hale Bopp and Donati's Comets, spiral and other nebula, super nova and major stars. My painting includes planets in fanciful locations, our moon and the Milky Way.
